Al Ahly Break Ground on New Stadium

Historic Club Embarks on Ambitious Project

Cairo, Egypt -

Egyptian football powerhouse Al Ahly has marked a significant milestone in its history with the laying of the foundation stone for its new stadium. The ceremony, which took place on the outskirts of Cairo, was attended by club president Mahmoud El Khatib and members of the board of directors.

The new stadium, which has been in the planning stages for several years, is set to be a state-of-the-art facility with a capacity of over 60,000 spectators. It will replace Al Ahly's current home ground, the Cairo International Stadium, which has been in use since 1960.

The construction of the new stadium is expected to take approximately two years to complete. Once finished, it will not only serve as a home for Al Ahly's football team but also host other major sporting events and concerts.
